With more than a quarter acre of property, our clients had spent years imagining what the backyard could become. Like many homeowners, they initially considered building an ADU as an investment property that could generate rental income.
But as plans began to take shape, so did a different vision.
Instead of preparing the space for a future tenant, they realized it could become the perfect first home for their grown daughter—a place where she could enjoy her independence while still remaining close to family.
